Laura Thornton at Worcester World Affairs Council

Laura Thornton is Senior Vice President, Democracy, at the German Marshall Fund in Washington, DC. She will speak on democracy in Europe and the issues surrounding maintaining democratic initiatives throughout the region given political instabilities and Russian influence. 1) To register to attend the meeting in person and pay for the meal at the Worcester Club, please purchase the "ticket" below.   Space is limited, and the deadline to register and pay for your meal is one week before the event. The menu is to be announced. The meeting  begins with social time at 6 pm, dinner about 6:30 pm, and presentation beginning about 7:45-8 pm.
