Members of the Worcester World Affairs Council (WWAC) pay an annual fee that covers the cost of the annual series of speakers. The membership fee includes a regular rate for one person and reduced rates for categories such a dual membership for two people at the same address and student members. Each event with a speaker is preceded by a social time and in-person events include a meal for which there is a separate fee. The current membership rates for the 2022-23 program year ending in June 2023 are available under Plans and Pricing.

When in-person meetings resume, the hybrid format may include in-person or remote speakers, and in-person or remote attendance. Those attending in person pay for their own meals.

In addition to its own meetings, members of the WWAC can take advantage of the many programs, subscriptions and study journeys offered by and through the World Affairs Councils of America, which also sponsors an impressive annual conference in Washington DC. In addition, members are eligible to participate in the Travel the World programs offered by the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia and cooperating Councils.

If you are interested in membership, please check the Plans and Pricing and contact the WWAC with any questions about attending an upcoming meeting.

Student Members

The Worcester World Affairs Council underwrites a number of complimentary memberships for college students at universities in Worcester.  Students are nominated by university representatives. Students have the opportunity to meet the speakers in advance, enjoy the meals, attend the presentation, and contribute to the discussion.

If you are interested in student membership, please use the form to contact the WWAC.
