About The Event

Michael J. Butler serves as an Associate Professor of International Relations and is the Chair of the Political Science Department at Clark University. During the academic year 2014-15, he was a Fulbright Scholar at the Institute of International Studies at the University of Wrocław. Butler's expertise lies in foreign policy, international security, and conflict management and resolution. He has contributed to six books as an author, co-author, or editor, including Reconstructing the Responsibility to Protect: From Humanitarian Intervention to Human Security (2024).
